(Adnkronos) – Il cantautore e compositore Charles Dumont, autore di "Non, je ne regrette rien" di Edith Piaf, una delle canzoni francesi pi\u00f9 famose, \u00e8 morto a Parigi domenica sera, 17 novembre, all'et\u00e0 di 95 anni dopo una lunga malattia. Il ministro della Cultura francese, Rachida Dati, ha reso omaggio alla memoria di "un mostro sacro della canzone francese".\u00a0Trombettista di formazione, la carriera di Dumont ebbe una svolta quando convinse Edith Piaf a eseguire una delle sue composizioni. Nel 1956 divenne famoso per aver composto con Michael Vaucaire "Non, je ne regrette rien", che Piaf interpret\u00f2 dedicandola alla Legione straniera. La loro collaborazione dur\u00f2 fino alla morte della Piaf nel 1963, e produsse oltre 30 canzoni, tra cui "Mon dieu", "Les Flonflons du bal" e "Les amants". Dopo aver scritto per Jacques Brel "Je m'en remets \u00e0 toi" nel 1964, in seguito Dumont ha lavorato anche con Dalida e Tino Rossi e alla fine degli anni '60 \u00e8 diventato un cantante, pubblicando una serie di album.
